One-Day Youth Motivational Seminar Held in Diocese of Pokhara

Believers Eastern Church Diocese of Pokhara held a one-day youth motivational seminar in Rupandehi District, Nepal on 23 September 2021. More than 60 youth from different parishes of the district participated in the meeting.

The seminar comprised of four major sessions. The first session was taken by the vicar general of the diocese. He spoke on the unwavering faithfulness of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego who resolved not to defile themselves with the royal food and wine. The second session focused on the importance of knowing Jesus more fully and intimately as St Paul did.

The third session focused on how young people can contribute to the different social welfare activities of the church. And in the fourth session the participants were taught about the faith and practices of the church.

The seminar was a great blessing to the youth. One of the participants by name Pankaj said, “First of all, I thank God for this privilege to be a part of the youth program. I am inspired and truly blessed by the whole seminar. All the topics were new to me. I received a lot of new insights from today’s program. I do thank all the resource persons for their time and effort.”
