A one-day seminar organized by the Women’s Fellowship team from Khowai Mission Province recently brought together around 180 women from local churches in Khowai District, Tripura. The seminar was designed to equip and inspire participants to deepen their commitment to ministry and family life.
The event featured several speakers, including the Diocesan Vicar of Agartala Diocese, who encouraged the women to look to the Bible for inspiration. Sharing stories of women in Scripture, he urged the attendees to serve the Lord wholeheartedly in whatever ways they could.
The Women’s Fellowship Leader from Agartala Diocese also spoke, focusing on the importance of Women’s Fellowship activities. She explained how these should be organized and emphasized the need for personal responsibility in growing both the local fellowship ministry and nurturing their families.
Mrs. Bindhumol Jena provided practical guidance on fundraising for the ministry, offering valuable insights that the women could apply in their local contexts.
Reflecting on the seminar, Shivani Debbarma, one of the participants, shared her gratitude: “I am happy today because I could learn many new things that I did not know before. I thank God for sending His servants who taught us wonderfully.”
This seminar marks another step forward in the church’s mission to empower women in their spiritual journeys and community leadership.
