Old Age Home Residents Receives Food Supplies on Senior Citizen’s Day

A team of Women’s Fellowship members in Believers Church Diocese of Delhi organized a compassion program in an old age home on 22nd August 2015, Senior Citizens Day.

16 people are currently residing here. Some of them are paralysed, mentally retarded or sick. Their relatives no longer come and visit them. So, this program was organized to show them some compassion. The sisters visited each person and provided them with wheat, cooking oil, pulses and biscuits.

“Many people come and visit us often, but no one spends time with us,” said one inmate. “Thank you so much for spending your time with us. We are really encouraged by you.”

Believers Church uses each opportunity to serve the poor and downtrodden through organizing similar programs like this.
