Believers Church Patna Diocese inaugurated a new bore well on 10 June 2013. Before this, the local villagers struggled. They had one tube well, but its water level would decrease during the summer, forcing people to walk two kilometers to find water.
Now that Believers Church has installed a good-quality well, people can draw sufficient water for all their needs. “Before, we had to walk a long distance to fetch water,” said the villagers, “but now we are able to fetch water in our own village.” Thirty-five families daily draw water from the new well.
Providing clean water is just one of the many ways Believers Church is developing rural communities.
