Niranam Convention Draws 5,000 People

More than 5,000 people gathered for Believers Church Niranam Diocese’s annual convention from 30th January-3rd February 2013. The theme was “You are the light of the world.”

In keeping with the church’s focus on serving humanity, Metropolitan Bishop Dr. K.P. Yohannan challenged the participants to be a light to their communities. The crowd learned from various church leaders about forgiveness, God’s faithfulness and not complaining or arguing.

The Valiya Metropolitan of Mar Thoma Church, Dr. Philipose Mar Chrysostom, was a special guest. He spoke about prayer, encouraging the people to seek not only God’s blessings, but God Himself.

The event uplifted and inspired thousands from across Kerala.
