Believers Church Agartala Diocese inaugurated a new community bore well on the 15th of September.
The village where the well was installed was facing a severe water crisis. They used water from open sources like ponds which are not safe for drinking. However, since the villagers are farmers who depend on agriculture for their living, they were not able to afford for a new source of water because most of them are living below the poverty line.
Realizing their need for a clean water source, Believers Church installed a new well. Because of this well, the villagers are able to get clean drinking water on a daily basis. Nearly 100 villagers are using water from the new well.
This is just one example of how Believers Church provides water to communities in need. Each year the church drills hundreds of wells in developing areas.
