Believers Church Kolkata Diocese inaugurated a well in a poverty-stricken village on 15th March 2013, making the community members very happy.
The villagers previously got their water from bore wells that produced dirty water unsuitable for drinking or cooking. To make things worse, the wells would be dry in the summer, forcing villagers to use pond water. For this reason, many people fell sick. They were in desperate need of pure water.
Believers Church took care of this need by installing a quality well that supplies clean water to 150 people each day.
In the same way, the church provides hundreds of wells every year to communities struggling with water scarcity.
