New Well Curbs Water Contentions

Believers Church Patna Diocese inaugurated a new bore well in a village on 27th March 2013. The people here had been suffering due to lack of water. They depended on seasonal rain water and water supplied by the municipality.

Often they had to wait for a long time to get even a bucket of water. This water scarcity caused serious arguments and fights between community members.

But things have changed since Believers Church drilled a well. One hundred villagers now benefit daily from the new water source. People no longer have to worry about when water will be available, but can collect water at any time for drinking, cooking, bathing or washing clothes.

This is just one example of how Believers Church provides clean water to thousands through wells and BioSand water filters.
