Believers Church Jasidih Diocese provided a village in Jharkhand with a new well, which was inaugurated on 7th April 2013. The villagers, mostly farmers and laborers, used to suffer due to lack of water. The old public well they relied on would start drying up in the summer, forcing everyone to walk a long distance to fetch water. Even then, there was often not enough of the precious resource to go around.
The new well drilled by Believers Church has made the community very happy. Now they can all draw sufficient water for daily needs such as drinking, cooking, bathing and washing clothes.
Believers Church supplies safe water to hundreds of communities each year through bore wells and BioSand water filters.
