A new water tank was dedicated for remote villagers by Believers Church Diocese of Imphal on 21st September 2014.
Previously, these villagers took water from a river that flows nearby. They used the dirty water directly because they lacked proper facilities to store water. So, the church constructed a new tank where they can store and keep water and thereby get clean water. Rev. Fr. Meghachandra dedicated the tank for them.
Now, the whole village depends on this tank for all their daily needs. They thanked the church for providing them the water tank.
Believers Church provides safe drinking water in rural areas by installing bore wells, water tanks and also by providing BioSand water filters through the clean water project.
