A Bridge of Hope center in Believers Church Bhopal Diocese inaugurated a new tailoring unit for the underprivileged in the month of September.
Mr. Rajesh Jain (Chief Manager of State Bank of India) was invited as the chief guest. During his brief speech he said, “Through Bridge of Hope, 67,000 underprivileged children are given free education and medical help and I am very thankful to Believers Church for helping the poor in our community. And also these free tailoring training classes will be a great help for poor people.”
Rev. Fr. Roy also spoke on the occasion and said that the tailoring unit will help poor families to stitch their own clothes at home, helping them to save money.
The tailoring classes will begin on the 21st of September and so far 15 sisters have enrolled.
Tailoring classes are one of the many ways that Believers Church works towards women’s empowerment.
