Believers Church Diocese of Vizag inaugurated a new tailoring unit for women in a remote village on 13th March 2015.
Most of the women in this village are unemployed. They are helpless even if their husband’s income is not sufficient to take care of their family. So, through this center, they will be able learn skills that they can use to make an income and help in meeting their family’s needs.
“It was impossible for me to go and learn stitching outside due to the high fees they charge there,” said Sujatha, a mother of two Bridge of Hope children. “But, now, I can learn it freely and support my family by stitching clothes for others. Thank you so much for helping me and my children.”
Through vocational training programs, Believers church gives a six-months of training in a skill to women and thereby helps them become self-supporting.
