A new bore well was inaugurated by Believers Church Gorakhpur Diocese on the 13th of June.
The village where the well was installed is a rural one in which the villagers are farmers who depend on seasonal rain water for their cultivation. They travel a long distance to fetch water for drinking. Even then, sometimes they are not able to get sufficient quantity of water for drinking and other necessary purposes.
Realizing their need for another source of water, Believers Church installed a new bore well. Since the installation, the people in the village are able to get enough clean water for their daily use.
They can now draw water at any time they need. Also they do not need to walk a long distance. The villagers are very grateful and happy with Believers Church for solving their water problems. Every day around 20 families benefit from the water in the well.
This is just one example of how Believers Church provides water to communities in need. Each year the church drills hundreds of wells in developing areas.
