New Bridge of Hope Center Inaugurated in Sikkim

A new Bridge of Hope center was inaugurated in Believers Church Sikkim on the 6th of July .

The program started with the lighting of lamps by the dignitaries. More than 150 people had gathered to witness the inauguration program.

The chief guest Dr. Bandana Pradhan appreciated the initiative taken by Believers Church towards holistic development of children in need and urged the community to take advantage of the Bridge of Hope center.

Rev. Fr. Franklin briefly shared his experience with Believers Church and its humanitarian projects including Bridge of Hope and said that it has been a very successful initiative and is very beneficial for the community. He thanked Metropolitan Dr. K.P. Yohannan for his love towards children in need.

Children from other Bridge of Hope projects in Sikkim presented dances and songs to mark the occasion. After the program, while talking with community people, Mr. Shiv Lal said, “Bridge of Hope is a good step towards solving problems of children who are weak in studies. Moral guidance is the need of the children in this society.” The program concluded with a prayer of blessing.

The kids who have enrolled will be joining more than 60,000 students who receive education, medical services, social awareness and nutritious food through Bridge of Hope.
