Believers Church Uttarakhand inaugurated a new Bridge of Hope center on the 17th of August.
Most of the families in this village are poor and underprivileged. They survive by manual labour. Due to these conditions the children are often without nutritious food and education.
Sensing the difference a Bridge of Hope can make, Believers Church Uttarakhand has opened a center. More than 150 people gathered for the inauguration program.
Rev. Fr. Abhishek was invited as the chief guest. In his speech he said, “One out of every two children under three is malnourished in India. Millions of kids are born in India every day into households that are below the poverty line, thus this results in malnutrition and child labour etc. So the aim of Bridge of Hope is to bring hope to these underprivileged children.”
Following this, a ribbon was cut to mark the official opening of the center. Parents and community people were present; they took a keen interest in the proceedings and were excited to send their children regularly to the center.
Amit a parent said, “I will be sending my children regularly to this project. I hope that my children will develop a lot in the future.”
The children of this village will be joining 67,000 others who receive good food, education and regular medical checkups through Believers Church’s Bridge of Hope.
