New Bore Wells Provide Clean Water to 600 in Bilaspur Diocese

Believers Church Bilaspur Diocese installed bore wells in five different places in February 2014. More than 600 people now use these bore wells for their daily water requirements.

Many villages of the diocese face severe water scarcity. People have to walk kilometers to get drinking water. Considering the villagers’ struggle for water, the church decided to install bore wells in different areas.

A local newspaper reported the initiative of the church and said “These bore wells are a great help to the villagers…the church came forward and changed their lives.”

Until now Believers Church drilled thousands of bore wells and distributed many thousands of BioSand water filters to the poor and needy people.
