On 30th April 2015, Believers Church Diocese of Kathmandu distributed food supplies to earthquake victims in a remote village in Kathmandu District.
This village was almost completely devastated in the earthquake. People here lost all their crops and houses. They were isolated from the surrounding places as the transport facilities were destroyed and hence, received no help from other relief operations.
So, a relief team guided by Bishop Dr. Narayan Sharma reached out to these villagers with help. They distributed 2,100 kg rice to 70 affected families.
“No one reached here with help, but you did,” said Manju, a beneficiary. “Thank you so much for your help.”
