Needy Families Receive Dry Rations in Diocese of Tura

On 26 July 2021, a small parish in Believers Eastern Church Diocese of Tura held a dry ration distribution to help families adversely affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.

During the distribution program, the parish priest also gave a short message about Covid appropriate behaviors and urged the beneficiaries to strictly follow the Covid-19 protocols such as wearing masks and social distancing to safeguard themselves and their families from the covid-19 virus.

On this day, a total of 16 needy families were given dry ration kits. Each ration kit contained 6 kg rice, 1 litre oil, 1 kg each of wheat flour, dal, potatoes and green peas. The beneficiaries extended their gratitude to the church for the timely help.
