Needy Families in Diocese of Birtamod Receive New Sanitation Facilities

Believers Eastern Church Diocese of Birtamod constructed and dedicated new toilets for three needy families in Jhapa District, in August and September 2021.

These families didn’t have proper sanitation facilities at their homes as their small income was insufficient to afford the expenses of constructing one. Seeing their need, the Diocese of Birtamod constructed new toilets for them. All the three families were happy to receive the sanitation facilities and they thanked the church for offering them such a great help.

One of the beneficiaries, Mr. Daud expressed his gratefulness saying, “My family and I are extremely thankful to the church for building this toilet for us. We have been using a temporary toilet for many years. Many a time I planned to build a proper toilet, but I was not able to afford the cost. So, to have a toilet of this kind is beyond my imagination and budget.”
