Needy Children Receive Textbooks in Diocese of Birtamod

As part of its initiative to help equip underprivileged children with the tools they need to succeed in school, Believers Eastern Church District No. 2 (Jhapa) in Diocese of Birtamod organized a textbook distribution program on 23 August 2022.

The distribution was held at one of the schools, which just got converted to English medium, where the district team handed out school textbooks to 25 needy children. These children come from extremely poor families that find it difficult to provide resources for their children’s education.

The school principal and parents expressed their profound gratitude to the church leaders for the invaluable support and love shown to their children.

Mr. Yagya Sitaula, the school principal said, “Thank you for realizing the dire need of our students and coming forward to help them. May God continue to use you to reach many other needy and underprivileged children.”
