In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit+
May the grace and the blessings and the mercy of God be with us now and always!
What a joy to greet you especially during this amazing wonderful season of Christmas. Obviously the message of Christmas is one of great joy, peace, forgiveness, hope, victory over death, and it’s never ending. What a blessing we have received through that greatest event in history when Almighty God loving His creation, for God so loved the world that He came to be with us to save us and give us His life. So we celebrate Christmas, which is our awesome privilege.
But how do we experience this joy, this happiness, this incredible blessing – that is Christmas?. It is by choice; it is by you and I saying, “This is my privilege to embrace this meaning, this message ‘Christ is Christmas’. And also this is a season that’s right now as a holy church, the preparation for this amazing event of our Lord now being born through Blessed Virgin Mary, Theotokos. All these kind of, make us want to think daily and be grateful and of great anticipation to be part of the celebration.
But then too, Christmas is giving. God gave, and so today we demonstrate God’s love by incarnating the life of giving, sharing, showing concern in words and kindness, helping the poor and the needy and the sick regardless of caste, creed or religion. Let us begin as Mother Teresa said, in our home, in our neighborhood, in our community, in our state, in our nation and for the whole world through thinking, through prayer, through going, through giving. May this Christmas season be one of the greatest and joy-filled seasons in your life, and I wish that for the Holy Church, Believers Eastern Church and all people as Metropolitan of the Church. I want to join with you in rejoicing and experience this joy of this special season.
Happy Christmas to you. All the blessings!
