Nagpur Diocese Trains Women to Raise Health Awareness

Believers Church Nagpur Diocese trained 14 women for Women’s Fellowship’s new Healthcare Project from 6th to 9th May 2013.

Rev. Fr. Sanjay inaugurated the seminar by sharing from the Word of God. He said that we should follow Christ by helping people both in their physical health. He challenged the women that just as Jesus healed many when He was on earth, we also need to care for others in each area of their lives.

During the four-day seminar, women learned about care during pregnancy, caring for newborns and sick children and the importance of hand washing. Skits and practical demonstrations made the sessions interesting and memorable. The aim of this project is to see women living healthy lives. The participants of the training will teach women in undeveloped communities how to take care of themselves and their families.

This is only one of the many ways that Believers Church is raising health awareness.
