Mumbai Minor Seminary Reflects on Jana Gana Mana

Believers Church Mumbai Diocese observed Independence Day on 15th August 2009 at the local Minor Seminary campus. Students, staff and their families gathered for the program.

Rev. Fr. Jose spoke about the history of India’s national anthem, “Jana Gana Mana”. After his address, the student captain invited him to hoist the flag, and all the students and staff joined in singing the anthem. Afterwards, they spent a few moments remembering the people who died for the nation.

Believers Church held similar programs all over India to observe the nation’s special day.
