Mumbai Diocese Distributes Food to Needy
October 18, 2011Believers Church Mumbai Diocese acknowledged World Food Day by distributing food packets to the needy. Thousands in Mumbai struggle to get even one meal a day. There are people who have to collect food from the garbage.
Our Women’s Fellowship team members, staff members and Bible College students in Mumbai prepared and distributed fresh packets of Punjabi food (puri and choley) for the occasion. Three hundred poor people and beggars received the packets. Rakesh (Sunday School Leader) and Satyabhan helped to distribute the food.
