Believers Church Dhemaji Diocese organized children’s day programs in Bridge Of Hope centers on 14th November 2012. Over 2,000 students participated.
Children sang, danced, and recited poems. In one center, the special guest shared about the exemplary life of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. He said that children are our future and pride and thanked Bridge of Hope for organizing children’s day programs.
A small boy named Hemanto, who is in class three, was rewarded for being the best student in a project center. He said, “In the coming days I will be a good child to my parents and obedient to my teachers. I also will be an example to my friends.”
In another project center, a boy named Chandra of ninth standard said, “I always feel happy to come to the project center as we are considered important and the staff takes care of us. I am very happy for the children’s day program and to learn from our guest that we are the future. By learning this I feel responsible to give my best in studies and obey my mother.”
Children are realizing their worth at Bridge of Hope centers set up by Believers Church throughout South Asia. As students achieve their potential, the future of their communities is brightening.
