More than 150 People Benefit from New Bore Well in West Bengal

Believers Church Kolkata Diocese installed a new bore well on the 8th of September.

The village where the bore well was installed was a remote area and the people depended on agriculture for their livelihood. Most of them were living under the poverty line. Finding good water for drinking was difficult and so they depended on unclean pond water. This caused the villagers to fall sick often.

Realizing the need for another water source, Believers Church installed a new bore well in the village. This well now is the main source of water for drinking, cooking, cleaning and other necessary purposes. More than 150 villagers use this well on a regular basis. The villagers now feel blessed and are very happy.

Believers Church provides clean drinking water to thousands of villages in India by drilling bore wells and distributing BioSand water filters.
