Moran Mor Athanasius Yohan I Metropolitan Dedicates 160 Sisters for the Order of Sisters of Compassion

The dedication service of the 13th batch of Sisters of Compassion was held at the Synod Secretariat on 15 January 2019. As many as 160 young women who have successfully completed their six-month intensive training were inducted into the order of Sisters of Compassion by Moran Mor Athanasius Yohan I Metropolitan.

During the service, Moran Mor Athanasius Yohan I Metropolitan presented each of them with a silver cross – to symbolize their commitment and servanthood as soon they will be moving out to different places across the nation to work among the lepers, orphans, widows and serve them with love and compassion.
