Minor Seminary students in Believers Church Uttarakhand celebrated Independence Day on 15th August 2014. The team took the initiative to clean a hospital and its surroundings on that day.
Rev. Fr. Japha hoisted the flag and addressed the students. He said “Let us remember the people who fought for the freedom of our nation and liberate us from the bondage of slavery.”
After the flag hoisting ceremony the team went to a nearby government hospital. They cleaned the rooms, corridors, toilets and hospital premises. Also they removed cobwebs and mopped the hospital floor.
Dr. Rana said “I know this Church works for the well-being of the society. This is how we can show our people that we love them and care for them. I am thankful to the leadership and all of your for working hard to clean the hospital.”
Minor Seminary students and local church members were excited to be involved and took active part in the social welfare work. Believers Church conducted similar types of programs on this Independence Day in all its dioceses.
