On 25th January 2011, the Minor Seminary students and staff of Agartala Diocese put forth their efforts to enrich the community through a service project.
First, they all went to Khumphui Academy to clean the hostel surroundings and to clear weeds off the campus. Some of the students then went to the local Dukmali Market to clean the roads. Others visited the nearby Kherengbar Hospital to clean the inside and outside of the building. It was a good time of work in which all the students and staff participated.
This social work was intended to promote a better lifestyle and a healthy environment for those who do not understand the importance of hygienic living. People appreciated the church for the service they extended. The Minor Seminary counted it an honor to help the neighboring people.
