Believers Church Diocese of Patna inaugurated a new Bridge of Hope center for underprivileged children on 5th December 2014.
The center was opened in a community where the people are extremely poor and illiterate. So, giving their children a chance to get education was the main reason for opening this center.
Sri. Samrat Choudhary (Minister of Urban Development and Housing) inaugurated the center. In his message, he appreciated the Church and the various initiatives taken by it to help the needy. Bishop M.A. Lalachan and Smt. Poonam Devi (MLA) were also present during the program.
Now, 120 children have been enrolled into the center and they will be given education, food, medical care and other necessities.
This is just one of the many ways, the church reaches out to the neglected and cares for them by providing their most basic needs.
