Minister Inaugurates Mosquito Net Distribution Program in Diocese of Agartala

Sri. Naresh Chandra Jamatia (Minister, Forest and Rural Development) inaugurated a mosquito net distribution program in Believers Church Diocese of Agartala on 8th December 2014.

After the inauguration, the minister appreciated the church for its various initiatives taken to empower the needy and offered his help and support for its all further activities.

3,000 people received mosquito nets during the program. “I am so happy to receive this net,” said Shanker Debbarma, a beneficiary. “Now, we will be protected from mosquito bites and all related diseases.”

This is just the first distribution which will take place in the diocese; another 10,000 mosquito nets will be distributed in the days to come.
