Minister of Education Distributes School Kits to 79 Students
August 22, 2013Believers Church Kolkata Diocese organized a program to distribute school kits on the 22nd of August.
School kits were distributed to 79 students who come from a very poor background but obtained first class in their matriculation examination. Each school kit contained a school bag, twelve long exercise note books and twelve pens.
Bishop Dr. Juria Bardhan and Sri. Bratya Basu (Minister of Education) were invited as the chief guests. Mr. Debashish Kumar (Cardiologist) and Mr. Dipyaman Bhattacharya (Assistant Cinematographer) were invited as the guests of honour. Sri. Bratya Basu highly appreciated Believers Church’s effort to appreciate these underprivileged students.
Through these distributions, Believers Church encourages poor students to reach their full potential.
