Minister Distributes Blankets to 500 Underprivileged Children

Believers Eastern Church Diocese of Agartala organized a free blanket distribution program through Bridge of Hope (Hope for Children) on 13 January 2020.

Shri Mevar Kumar Jamatia (Minister of Tribal Welfare and Forest) and His Grace Anil Mor Philemon Episcopa were the chief guests at the program.

Inaugurating the event, Shri Mevar Kumar Jamatia said, “Each year, Believers Eastern Church provides some form of help to poor people. It shows that the church has love and care for the needy ones. I really appreciate this great initiative taken by the church to provide blankets to less privileged children today”.

A total of 500 children received blankets that day.
