Metropolitan Speaks to 10,000 During the Athmeeya Yathra One Day Meeting at Neyyattinkara

Metropolitan Dr. K.P. Yohannan spoke to the Athmik Yathra radio listeners and Athmeeya Yathra TV viewers during the Athmeeya Yathra one day meeting held at Neyyattinkara, Thiruvananthapuram District, Kerala on 13th December 2014.

During the inaugural session, they handed over the house key to an extremely poor family for whom the Church has built a new house. This family did not have a house of their own previously and the Church realized their need and constructed a new house by using the money raised during the one day meeting held last year. The family members came forward and received the key from Sri. R. Selvaraj (MLA) in the presence of Metropolitan and Sri. A.T. George (MLA).

Later, Metropolitan spoke to the gathering on love and faith. And over 10,000 people listened to him eagerly and were encouraged to love and care for one another.

The meeting was the second of two happened in Diocese of Niranam this month. The first one was held at Nedumkandam, Idukki on 6th December. Meetings like these are just one of the many ways Athmeeya Yathra is providing hope to this generation.
