Metropolitan Dr. K.P. Yohannan Speaks to 12,000 People at Idukki

Metropolitan Dr. K.P. Yohannan spoke at the Athmeeya Yathra One Day meeting held at Nedumkandam, Idukki District, Kerala on 06th December 2014. 12,000 people including the regular listeners of Athmik Yathra radio and viewers of Athmeeya Yathra TV gathered to hear Metropolitan’s message.

During the inaugural session, Metropolitan handed over keys to a poor man, for whom the church has built a new house. He was extremely poor and was living in an old shed along with his wife and four children. Seeing their situation, the church built them a new house.

Later, he spoke to the gathering on love, forgiveness and faith. People eagerly listened to him and were encouraged and uplifted by his message.

The meeting was the first of two happening in Diocese of Niranam this month. The next meeting will be held in Neyyattinkara, Thiruvananthapuram on 13th December. Meetings like these are just one of the many ways Athmeeya Yathra is providing hope to this generation.
