Your Eminence,

It is with deep sorrow, pain, and heartfelt reverence that we received the news of the passing away of His Holiness Pope Francis—a true servant of God whose life reflected humility, grace, true humanity, and unwavering devotion to Christ and His Church.

On behalf of the 4.5 million faithful of the Believers Eastern Church, along with our Arch- bishops, Bishops, Priests, and the entire ecclesial family, I extend our deepest condolences to the universal Roman Catholic Church and to Your Eminences during these difficult moments and this time of mourning.

The Holy Father stood as a global beacon of peace, compassion, and justice-speaking to the conscience of the world and exemplifying the heart of Christ in his care for the poor, the vulnerable, and the forgotten. His spiritual legacy will continue to inspire generations to
come.

As Your Eminences and the Church prepare to commend his soul into the hands of the Eternal Shepherd, we join you in prayer for the last rites and the laying to rest of his mortal remains, asking the loving Lord to surround you with His comfort and strength. May these sacred moments be filled with the hope of resurrection and the assurance of God’s abiding presence.

We give thanks to God for the life, witness, and service of the Holy Father to humanity at large, and we stand in prayerful solidarity with the Church across the world during this time of profound loss and mourning.

May his soul rest in peace and rise in glory.
