Meeting of the Synod of Believers Eastern Church Inaugurated

Dr K.P. Yohannan Metropolitan inaugurated the meeting of the Synod of Believers Eastern Church on 7 August 2018 at the Believers Eastern Church Synod Secretariat.

“Jesus’ path is that of love, suffering and forgiveness. This is the path we need to follow. We ought to examine ourselves if we have deviated from this path”, Dr K.P. Yohannan said while inaugurating the meet. He added saying, “Priesthood is a holy service. The priests of the church should be careful that they don’t fall prey to the follies of this world”

More than 130 leaders including Episcopas, in-charges of various commissions and boards, vicar generals and senior clergy from all dioceses of the church are attending this second annual meet. Administrative functions of dioceses, church consolidation and various other concerns related to the church will be discussed over the next few days.
