Believers Church Kathmandu Diocese held medical camps for Bridge of Hope children from 20th-27th September 2006. The total number of children who came was 762.
These students were being infected by many diseases. As there was no medical assistance available in their remote villages, Believers Church started looking for ways to help. The Bridge of Hope teachers started giving a special class on health and hygiene weekly. Added to this were annual medical camps.
This year, two doctors and three other medical staff examined the children and treated them as necessary. Beyond this, they made people aware of different diseases and how to prevent them.
Believers Church works to improve the health of many undeveloped communities through medical camps, awareness programs and more.
