Medical Camp Treats Children Prone to Disease

A Bridge of Hope center in Believers Church Hyderabad Diocese organized a medical camp on 17th February 2013. Due to lack of hygiene in the locality, children are often susceptible to disease.

Dr. Udai Singh, MBBS, DCH and Dr. Sakunthala Devi, MBBS, DGO examined the Bridge of Hope children and distributed medicine to those in need of it. Hoping to prevent future disease, Dr. Udai raised local people’s health awareness by sharing the importance of hygienic living and nourishing food.

Parents were very happy that their children were able to benefit from such a program. Dr. Sakunthala also appreciated Bridge of Hope for regularly providing vitamins, deworming tablets and nutritious meals to the community’s children.

Believers Church has numerous initiatives promoting good health, including Bridge of Hope medical camps, vitamin distributions and community healthcare classes for women.
