Lucknow Diocese Celebrates World Water Day by Providing Pure Water

Believers Church Lucknow Diocese celebrated World Water Day by distributing 10 BioSand water filters to a needy community on 22nd March 2014. At the same time, the church distributed shawls to poor elderly women lacking warm clothes. More than 150 people gathered for the program.

Ms.Remya (Women’s Fellowship department) spoke about the importance of clean and hygienic water usage. The villagers then watched how the BioSand filter turned ever muddy, filthy water in pure, clean water that was safe for drinking.

This was only one of many events which Believers Church held throughout its dioceses on World Water Day.
