Lucknow Diocese Blanket Distribution Reaches 3,650 People

Believers Church Lucknow Diocese organized blanket distribution programs in different places this winter. From December 2013 to January 2014, the diocese distributed 3,650 blankets among the most needy people, including 650 victims of communal violence. Various government officials attended the events, including Mr. R.K. Singh Patel (MP).

Most of the beneficiaries were daily laborers who lived below poverty line. They lived in small huts with thin plastic sheets and covered themselves with rice sacks during adverse weather conditions. Believers Church extended their helping hand to these people and gave them a way to beat the cold.

Believers Church always cares for the most neglected in society. The church concentrates on the well-being of the poor and needy.
