Believers Church Hyderabad Diocese took initiative to provide food for the needy on 8th March 2012. Each local church in the diocese distributed meals to the poor in their respective places.
A team of diocesan staff and Minor Seminary students also took nearly 200 food packets to the streets, railway station, and a local slum. They gave the packets to slum children living on a dirty heap near the road, beggars and leprosy patients as well as the blind and the mentally challenged. The staff spent time praying for these people that God would provide their daily bread.
Believers Church members throughout various countries arranged similar programs on the same day.
