Leprosy Patients in Siliguri Diocese Receive Gifts

Believers Church Siliguri Diocese distributed poverty alleviation gifts in honor of World Leprosy Day. Twenty families received gifts such as rice, stationery items, shawls and hygiene supplies.

“I am really very much grateful to the Women’s Fellowship team and Sisters of Compassion,” said a leprosy patient named Mohammad; “it is because of their effort that we could receive different gift items.”

In addition to World Leprosy Day programs throughout Believers Church’s dioceses, the church provides regularly care for leprosy patients through Sisters of Compassion and a leprosy hospital.
