Believers Church Diocese of Lucknow held free medical camps where they gave eye checkups in a leprosy colony and in a remote village on 4th November 2014.
The people in these areas were so poor and had never had their eyes checked. So, the diocese organized these camps to show them some compassion. An eye specialist doctor was invited to give them the required checkups and assistance.
38 people received free checkups in both places. “Thank you so much for organizing this eye checkup camp for us,” said Murari, one leprosy patient.
These camps brought medical aid to those who are unable to afford any medical facilities. The Church works to improve the health of many undeveloped communities through medical camps and awareness programs.
