Lepers Eat Delicious Food on World Leprosy Day
January 25, 2015Believers Church Diocese of Odisha distributed food packets to 100 lepers in a colony on 25 January 2015, World Leprosy Day.
A team of Women Fellowship members and Sisters of Compassion organized this program to show them care and compassion.
“My children left me here because of my disease and they hesitate even to visit me,” said Balram Sahu. “But you sisters came and gave us these food packets. Thank you so much.”
Believers Church cares for those who are abandoned, left out and neglected in society through compassion and social welfare programs.
