Kolkata Diocese Donates Blood for Community

“This is for the first time I have witnessed a church taking initiative to arrange a large blood donation camp like this,” said Dr. Anumay Mukharjee (head of the blood blank team) in appreciation of Believers Church Kolkata Diocese on 5th December 2008.

Rt. Rev. Thomas P. S. lit the lamp to inaugurate the program. After the inauguration program 63 people willingly donated their blood.

Donors included pastors, Believers Church workers and other local people.

This is one of many initiatives Believers Church has taken for the good of society by constantly looking for ways to support and uplift the downtrodden throughout South Asia.
