Kolkata Diocese Conducts Community Development Program

Believers Church Kolkata Diocese conducted a Poverty Alleviation Community Development Program on 21st June.

The recipients were from underprivileged background who are ignored by the society. Eleven families were benefited. They were given tin pieces, goats, cows, van rickshaws and bicycles.

Rabilal Murmu received a bicycle from Believers Church. He has five members in his family. He is financially poor and used to go to work by walking six kilometers. He said, “After receiving the bicycle I am able to go out and work and earn some money. There is no lacking in my family and there is joy and happiness.”

Believers Church conducts such community development programs in many villages by selecting the appropriate beneficiaries.
