Believers Church Kathmandu Diocese raised awareness about child rights on 14th September—Nepal’s National Children’s Day. Sunday school students, parents and other local people formed a rally to educate their community about the topic. At the end of the rally, they held a program where church leaders spoke about child rights and Sunday school kids displayed their talents through dance.
As police officer Suman Baniya inaugurated the program, he applauded Believers Church’s contributions toward child rights, women’s empowerment and the social development of Nepali people in general.
“Children are beautiful creations of God,” said Pastor Dipesh, “and He has given us responsibility to take care of them.”
Raising social awareness is just one of the ways that Believers Church’s Sunday schools are making a positive difference in their communities.
