Kathmandu Diocese Provides Food in Slum for World Food Day

Believers Church Kathmandu Diocese observed World Food Day on 16th October by distributing food to 31 families living in a slum area. They gave 10 kg of rice and 2 kg of dal to each family. They also distributed sweets to the children in the slum.

A poor elderly lady, who had been living in the slums for seven years, had tears in her eyes. She said they were tears of joy, because for four days her three children would have a plateful of rice and dal. She thanked the church members for their compassion.

Teams throughout Believers Church’s dioceses distributed food to the needy on World Food Day.
