On 8th February 2013, Believers Church Kathmandu Diocese partnered with Clinic Nepal to organize a one-day medical camp for people unable to afford healthcare. The camp focused on impoverished elderly people.
A team of doctors and health workers checked the general health of patients. Some were suffering from prolonged disease, but poverty had kept them from receiving necessary treatment. People received medicines and vitamins according to their need. A total of 145 elderly people and 25 young women were examined.
Sixty-eight-year-old Kul Deep expressed his thanks to Believers Church for caring for the downtrodden elderly people. As a father and grandfather of a large family, he appreciated the free medical aid and vitamins he and his wife received.
At the end of the camp, Believers Church provided lunch for the elderly patients.
Believers Church’s medical camps give free care to thousands of people in different nations.
